Covington Sports is a non-profit organization established in January of 2006 to provide youth recreational sports programs for participants ages 2 to 14.  Covington Sports was created by three local residents to fill a void left in the Covington community when the City of Covington eliminated all youth sports programs due to budget cuts.  We are the equivalent of a "City Recreation Department", offering several programs throughout the year:  Fall Soccer, Fall Flag Football, Fall Volleyball, Winter Basketball, Spring Soccer, Spring Baseball/Tee ball/Softball.  Programs are open to all children regardless of the school district they attend, their city of residence or their family’s financial situation.

Covington Sports funds programs solely through registration fees, donations, sponsorship fees and grants.  This year Covington Sports, utilizing a small staff and over 200 volunteer coaches, will serve over 3000 registrants.

We cannot do it alone.  We need you on OUR TEAM.

Recreational sports, like the ones offered by Covington Sports, are even more important than when we were kids.  Most of us played outside all day dreading the sound of our parents telling us it was “time to come in”.  For many kids today, the only time they spend outside interacting with other kids is at practices and games through Covington Sports.

Sponsor support is needed and greatly appreciated by all who participate in Covington Sports programs.  Sponsorships from businesses and families provide Covington Sports with the funds needed to assist the scholarship program, provide overall program equipment needs, field and gym maintenance, and help keep registration costs reasonably priced. 

We want you on OUR TEAM-Our goal for 2012 is to have 300 sponsored teams. 

 Join the “BE PART OF OUR TEAM” campaign and sponsor one or more teams with Covington Sports during 2012.  By sponsoring a team, your organization will benefit from:

• Increased community awareness by having your company name or logo on team shirts, on the Covington Sports website (with a link to your website) and displayed on game days

• A photo plaque of the team in recognition of your support

• Participation in Sponsor Recognition Day (hosted twice annually) and advertising in Sponsor Packets
